For scouts or analysts with a short attention span, Jalen Green stands out as soon as sights are sought. Mainly it’s his sleek 6’5" frame, and his explosiveness that makes you hone in to see what else his game contains. Soon after you realize he has a serviceable mid range game and is a high flyer. Jalen was 1 of 2 2020 prospects from the West Coast at USA Men’s Basketball Junior Mini Camp. All weekend Green completed plays in transition and did well creating his own shot against more mature and physical wings.

While equipped with physical potential, Greene has lots of upside in the skill department.

“I transitioned from a 4/5 to a wing” said Greene when asked how he popped up on the scouts radar out off nowhere months ago.

Jalen attends school at San Joaquin Memorial High School (ranked 145 in CA) and looks to make an impact early. Green was offered by Arizona a few weeks after Mini camp. More updates coming soon.

Update:

Early April 2017, Green was offered by Washington.
