Women Runners: Winning Isn’t Easy

Why being a woman in 2018 is a responsibility in its own right.

As I ran down the side of the river last night, I watched a woman sprint from behind me, and I smiled. I was going at a relaxed pace of 8:00/mile with minimal physical exertion (my typical pace ranges between 6:35/mile-7:35/mile), so what she assumed would be an easy win for her proved not to be so.
