Did you ever have this experience? You spend some time on something from your task list, maybe a tricky email to craft. You write it, polish it, satisfy yourself that it is right. You click send. Cross that task off your Next Action List. That should be the end of it- that email is gone, that To Do is marked as done- but your brain keeps coming back to it.
