A life far too short…

Dear Steve,

I have known you for most of your life. Adam and you grew up together, the best of friends. We grew up with you.

You are simply too young to die and nothing can be done that will change that.

Last spring, we lost two of our dogs within five days. You took the time to stop by our house, to bring us a card and something to eat.

It is a kindness that I will always remember, and we will hold you forever close to our hearts.

Our lives are richer for having known you.

What is left for us to do now is to work hard, to play hard and above all to love harder.
