Usain Bolt was born in Trelawny Jamaica on august 21 1986 he has always had a love and passion for running ever sense he was a little boy. Bolt has been wowing coaches ever sense he was as young as 14 some would describe his running as “lightning speed”. Usain won his first high school championship in 2001 for the 100 meter race.

Its no secret that Usain participated in the summer olympic games, Usain bolt had made so many accomplishments such as winning 9 gold medals as a reigning champion at the 2008,2012, 2016 summer olympics. He ran the 100 meter and 200 meter race.

At the Berlin 2009 world championship Bolt made a world record of 9.58 seconds for the 100 meter dash with a top speed clocking in at 27.8 miles per hour. He also holds the world record for the 200 meter dash with a time of 19.19 seconds.

Bolt receives a ton of rewards including “athlete of the year”, “track and field athlete of the year” and “ sportsman of the year”. His speed has made him achieve so many goals and rewards that helped him succeed. Bolt was also the first man to win both the 100 and 200 meter and set a world record for both at the same time.

Usain tells reporters that “this is why i came here to the Olympics to prove o the world that i’m the best…, it always feels amazing to go out on top” He obviously is very proud of his accomplishments and thinks very highly of what he has accomplished.

But sadly all good things come to a end, In 2017 Bolt faced challenges on the track he finished in 3rd while Justin Gatlin took home the Gold Medal. Although Justin didn’t beat Usain’s world records but he just simply came in 1st place. While Bolt was running the 4x1 relay he collapsed from a hamstring injury and only crossed the finish line with the help of his teammates. In August 2017 he announced his retirement from Track and field but claims that once he gets over his hamstring injury he’s going to have a soccer career.
