Minister of Education Lisa Thompson, the importance of education for future generations

Opening the final plenary of R2R 2018, Minister of Education Lisa Thompson, MPP for Huron-Bruce, spoke to an audience that included a number of high school students. Thompson highlighted the importance of education in creating a vibrant and resilient society.
A number of students from high schools in the Perth and Huron Counties were present for Thompson’s speech.
Thompson announced the Ministry of Education’s “for the parents” consultation website, an online portal parents can use to provide feedback in several areas of the education system.
