For some time now I’ve had a need to put my passion for writing into action. I’ve wanted to create a new personal product, a blog, and not just any blog — one that highlights not only my opinion and thoughts on:

  • Science and Technology — Software Engineering, Innovation, Computing, New Gadgets Reviews,Cool Discoveries, Challenging Topics in Tech Culture, Futurism, Technical How To’s, and How Technology Effects Society
  • Business — Strategy, Influences, Impact Decision Making, Leadership, and Entrepreneurship
  • Product Management — Creating Products People Love, Cool Products, PM Best Practices, Lessons Learned,The PM Journey, Personal Product Endeavors
  • Movies, Travel, and Food — I’m a huge movie buff, an occasional adventurer, and foodie (I’ll refrain from posting too many food pics)
  • Anything else that’s worth saying…probably a lot of comic book, TV, history, comedy, and dark humor references.

I have been skirting with the idea of using Medium to write for a while, I’m already an avid consumer of the rich content and awesome writers on here, and haven’t done any real creative writing in a very long time (years) to get my thoughts out of my head and out in the wild (may be a run-on sentence, but people reading with grammar OCD please just it flow). Since this is my first Medium story I figured I state my intentions up front…to voice my perspective, inform, share my experiences, learn from others, and have fun. Hopefully people out there would like to hear what I have to say about the certain topics I mentioned above — maybe not but who cares. This is a way to carve out a space that speaks to the most honest version of myself to have meaningful dialogue that deepens thought, release my creative juices, and maybe help someone else on certain topics. These days there needs to be more substantive and candid communication, and not communicating pass each other.

This is my journey…stay tuned if you would like to. Not bad for an ambivert (cross between a introvert and extrovert in behavioral tendencies— potentially a word for someone reading this).

Let’s see where this goes…
