Some people don’t know anything at all about “Ushankas”. What means “Ushanka”? An ushanka , also called a shapka-ushanka, is a Russian fur cap with ear flaps that can be tied up to the crown of the cap, or tied at the chin to protect the ears, jaw and lower chin from the cold.

For real — all russian bears wear Ushankas. All russian girls are wearing ushankas. If you are on the street in winter when it’s cold and snowy — you can see even cats or dogs in Ushankas!

Welcome to Russia, we are not so scary as you think!

From Russia with love!
