F*ckboys on Blast

These are a few of the lines used on me at the bar this weekend:

“What kind of Hindu are you?”

“So you’re a doctor, right?”

“Do you hate people from Pakistan?”

(Those were all the same dude … and asked consecutively.)

“You’re smart and have nice t*ts.”

(Different dude after an intellectual chat about politics)

But here’s the scariest part: Both of these people were shocked when I told them they were out of line. Which means, they actually thought I’d take their condescending, racial and sexual words as compliments.

I know not all boys are like this — and honestly this was mild — but I’m sharing the anecdote because I want people to know the daily amounts of bullshit women have to put up with.

It’s 2016. And we deserve better. #NotOkay
