Exercise is essential for people of all ages. Regular physical activity, along with slight changes in diet, can help reduce the risk many chronic disease states like type 2 diabetes and coronary artery disease.

Now there’s a number of reasons why people avoid exercising regularly: it’s too expensive, you lack the motivation to go to the gym, you don’t know how to exercise, etc. We’ve all been there. Bodyweight exercises are an excellent method you are able to not only complete from home in a judgement free zone, but it’s free, easy to start, and easy to track progress.

The hardest thing about exercise is to start doing it. Once you are doing exercise regularly, the hardest thing is to stop.

How do you start? There are a number of basic exercises like push-ups, crunches, and squats that are essential for any fitness routine. So… how do you string together these basic exercises into a cohesive routine? Well luckily there are a number of fitness videos on Youtube with pre-made workout routines. The internet is absolutely chock full of tips and tricks for anyone looking to start a bodyweight workout routine.

This video is a beginner workout routine that can be done without ANY gym equipment.

This is a 12-minute home exercise video designed for people isolated or quarantined due to COVID-19. The pandemic has prevented a lot of people from going to the gym or starting a gym membership so bodyweight home exercises have become a staple.

During these trying times, do something positive for yourself. Alleviate some stress and try some bodyweight exercises in the comfort of your own home.
