I'm excited to announce that Montana has recently given VUCA Health the approval for us to offer pharmacies in the state a digital alternative to patient education sheets.

Earlier this month, Maine and New Hampshire were also added to the list where pharmacies can allow their patients to opt-in to receive their medication information through our digital platform in lieu of paper. Read the full press release here.

It’s 2019, isn’t it time we move away from the whole paper thing? Not only is it wasteful, it costs pharmacies MONEY! We've estimated pharmacies doing between 100 and 400 prescriptions per year can spend $4,380 on paper and toner alone. That could really add up! And that isn’t even taking into account the costs of shredding services and work flow to coordinate keeping paper safe and making sure it goes with the right prescription.

The team at VUCA is excited to continue our journey to get to 50 states (hopefully) by the end of 2019. If you want to learn more and see if your state is on the list, visit: www.vucahealth.com/gopaperless.

Thanks for reading.

Take care,

-Richard
