Happy Holidays To You And Your Family
2020 Has Been A Hard Year For Most Of Us

We have experienced loss, struggle, hardship, and anxiety. The issues we face are not unique to one person, but rather, everyone. Elections are over, and now it’s time for our new leadership to put up or shut up during this time of desperate need. The holidays are not as joyful as they would be without the current pandemic inflicting so much devastation on so many of our fellow Americans.
Accountability is a vital component of leadership. Leaders must accept when they succeed as much as when they fail. We have experienced what leadership failure and failure to be accountable look like over the last 9 months. We need to make sure our leaders are held responsible and held to the promises they made during the election. I will be a loud voice that continues to hold our elected officials accountable.
Granted, nothing happens overnight. But when things are this hard on so many people, we expect a more rapid response.
Call To Action
Because of how many people are suffering from COVID19, I decided to participate in a vaccine trial at the Phoenix Veterans Affairs Health Care Center. My hope is to help to alleviate this pain for others. Yes, there are risks, but I feel a duty to my country is needed now more than ever. Thus far, I feel fine. I hope the research insights gained from this study will help others in this desperate time of need.
Looking Towards The Future
During the year 2020, I wanted to find a way to continue giving back more to our veteran community. Veterans are often forgotten by elected leaders. But not by me. For this reason, I have launched the Dr. Ryan A. Starzyk Veteran Pride Scholarship Award. The first two years of this $1,000 annual award are funded, and I hope to continue raising money to support it for many years to come.

We Are In This Together
2021 is right around the corner. Let’s work together towards a better, brighter future. Let’s put partisanship aside and find common ground. Let’s fight for a future we can all be proud of. Let’s make 2021 a year for the history books, and one where America came back stronger, better, and more resilient than ever before.
