Problems

The brand and product looked stale, as it was using default bootstrap styles. Data in the app was difficult and time consuming to browse through with the default pagination.

Solutions

Updated visual designs (logo, colors, fonts, ui-patterns) helped make the product look more fresher and professional. A slider component helped users quickly scrub to relative locations in their data, and an inline heading tool-tip kept users from having to glance up and down a page to make sense of it.

Conclusion

By interviewing stakeholder and users, and using the product ourselves, we devised several ways to enhance the experience and make it much easier to find the important data in the sea of confusion. We also gave the product a digital face-lift to make it look more professional and build trust.
