The chart above shows how four-year public universities’ tuition and fees have changed from 2004 to 2015. The prices have raised a significant amount. In my opinion these states have adjusted their prices to be competitive to the schools in neighboring states.

The chart above highlights the violent crime rate, per 100,000 people, in each state in between the years 2007–2009. After reviewing the chart it is clear to see most states hovered around the same rate, with minor differences. This chart makes it easy to see that if states try to lower violent crime rates, through laws or hiring more police, it will take several years in enact or to see a real difference.
