CONMEBOL sets dates for Copa Sudamericana games

Tricolor will face Colón, from Argentina, on August 2 and 16 for the second round of the tournament

CONMEBOL has set the dates and times for the second phase games of the 2018 Copa Sudamericana. The first leg against Colón, at the Morumbi, will be played on August 2 (Thursday) at 7:30 p.m., while the second leg is scheduled for August 16 (Thursday) at 9:45 p.m. in Argentina.

The winner will play against Lanus-ARG or Junior Barranquilla-COL in the round of 16. To get here, São Paulo overcame Rosario Central: a goalless draw in Argentina in the first leg, and triumph by 1–0, in the second leg.

Colón beat Zamora, from Venezuela, before facing São Paulo, winning the first leg by 2–0 and the second leg by 1–0.
