There I was, hoping it wasn't a normal day
Where I'll still stare at empty space.
Clinging to him, a parasite indeed,
Eyes darting, stuttering in your mind.

Brown locks and dirty shoes,
Bonding on things unspoken of.
Not realising, it was the start of all,
Of everything and nothing.

Starry nights into sunrise,
Stories were told, of far and wide.
All of it, with a background noise,
That we just decided to ignore.

But out it came one night,
Tossing us into unknown,
With broken hearts and jealousy,
Searing through our veins,
As mistakes got made.

But what we thought dead,
Spread itself again discreetly,
Until it wasn't noise anymore,
It was just the story of us.
