This captures the spirit of SaaSBooMi as a community and its purpose.
SaaS Ecosystem is between its second and third generation of iteration in India. We cannot emphasize enough the importance of SaaS as an industry to transform a Services Nation into a Product Nation. This transformation is not going to be an easy one. But by collectively building on each other’s knowledge we could accelerate the process.
Founders like Aneesh (Capillary Technologies), Manav (Eka) along with many other folks have been champions to share the Enterprise SaaS Playbook in various forms. Recently they organized the Enterprise Edition of SaaSBooMi in Bangalore with 50 founders and their VPs of Sales.
At SaaSBooMi, we openly share Playbooks to help each other so that we can build on each other’s knowledge.
Regardless of where you are in your journey, you have something important to share. It could be your mistakes to your peer or your lessons.
In my opinion, there are a few essential ingredients to make this magic of learning happen:
- safe space when we get into the learning mode — most events and conferences are not designed for this; consciously think about it every time you are setting up a SaaSBooMi event
- a few individuals who selflessly teach whatever they know — to keep the flywheel going it takes a lot of effort upfront
- a purpose bigger than the individuals
Whichever city you are in, please keep this spirit going by helping a founder out. Sometimes all they need is to know that they are not alone in this journey.
