Different types of Harvard Referencing

There are different types of Harvard referencing. But some of the common ones include:

  1. Normal Harvard Style references
  2. Harvard System of Referencing (Anglia Ruskin University)
  3. Harvard AGPS Referencing Guide

Generally, the difference between the various versions is very minor and mainly entails the use of punctuations, author initials, the order of town of publication, and the name of the publisher.

When asked to use a given system, you only need to pay close attention to the various elements of the style manual.

This is very easy to do if you are used to referencing papers with different styles.

However, don’t be tempted to use automated citation apps because they may be using a different version of Harvard — which means that you may get it all wrong!
