21 of the Best Disney Eats You Need To Get Your Hands On

If you’re not eating at least one of these every time you go to Disney, you better have a damn good excuse!

Story by Brittni Rae

Guilty as charged. I’m definitely that girl still spending money at the Disney Parks even though she has an annual pass. Why? I can’t say no to all the magical food!

Yes, I know what you’re thinking, “That sh*t is expensive!” Well, yes, a lot of the food at the park is definitely at ‘Disney price.’ Think about it this way, if you’re gonna spend money on over priced food, at least make sure it’s the best of the park! That’s where I come in. Below is a list of 21 of the best Disney eats, voted by friends, annual pass holders, instagramers, and…yours truly.

Savor-y Every Bite

1.) Barbecue Chicken Stuffed Baked Potato at Harbor Galley in Critter Country — Disneyland

Honestly, who knew this existed? This hidden gem is hiding over by Splash Mountain just waiting to be devoured. Hearty, filling, enough to split, and satisfying. Just look at it!

2.) Monte Cristo at Cafe Orleans in New Orleans Square — Disneyland

Ham and melted cheese fried between a dessert. Need I continue?

No.

3.) Clam Chowder Bread Bowl at Pacific Warf Cafe — Disney California Adventure

So warm, so tasty. Also found at Royal Street Veranda and Mint Julep Cafe in Disneyland!

4.) Bacon Wrapped Asparagus at Bengal Barbecue in Adventureland — Disneyland

Gotta give a thanks to my Instagram followers for this one! They tagged me in numerous pics telling me to try these little guys. Said it was #droolworthy. Well, they were correct. And you’re still eatin’ healthy!…Right?

5.)Chile Con Queso

AND

6.) the Bacon Mac and Cheese Cone at the Cozy Cone Motel in Cars Land — Disney California Adventure

Hi. Look at these. Just look at them.

The chile has cheese AND Fritos corn chips on top.

The mac and cheese has bacon mixed in AND bacon on top!

Pro Tip: Rip off pieces of the bread cone, and you can make little mac and cheese sandwiches.

7.) Lobster Nachos at The Cove Bar on Paradise Pier

These nachos made me a believer. In what exactly? Not sure. Life I guess.

They are packed! Tender lobster chunks, black beans, pico de gayo, chipotle crema, with jack and cheddar cheeses atop fresh corn tortilla chips.

Yum-mazing.

8.) Jalapeno and Cheese filled Pretzel at the Refreshment Corner on Main Street

The spicy kick is mild enough for those who usually stray away from spicy foods.

Inside is creamy white cheddar. Definitely and easy to eat snack for when you’re on the go.

9.) Disney Famous Corn Dog at Corn Dog Castle — Disney California Adventure

Probably the best corn dog I’ve ever had, hands down.

The breading is so thick. Crispy on the outside yet doughy and soft on the inside.

Also available on Main Street.

10.) Corn on the Cob with Chile and Lime at Snack Carts— Disneyland and Disney California Adventure

So warm, and juicy.

But really, the chile and lime juice dripped and stained my new Disney sweater. Still worth it.

Also, a plus that it’s a healthy option!

Fer Yer Sweet Tooth

11.) Fantasy Funnel Cake at Stage Door Cafe in Adventureland — Disneyland

When is funnel cake not good?

Well this one seems to taste even sweeter when you grab a patio seat and get a perfect view of the spectacular Fantasmic! right from the cafe.

12.) Matterhorn Macaroon at Jolly Holiday Bakery on Main Street — Disneyland

I sincerely hope Disney never stops making these. People would always rave to me about how good these were, but they never seemed that appealing.

I was wrong, they’re scrumptious. Definitely a must for all coconut lovers, and under two dollars too!

13.) Dole Whip at Enchanted Tiki Room in Adventureland — Disneyland

You can grab the a cup of the softest pineapple soft serve ever, or make it a float. Perfect for summer and super refreshing.

Kinda tastes like a Big Stick Popsicle.

Pro Tip: There’s a shorter line in the Tiki Room waiting area that many people don’t know is available for use.

14.) Beignets at Mint Julep Bar in New Orleans Square — Disneyland

Not only are these pastries Mickey shaped but they come with dipping sauces too: Vanilla Creme Anglaise and Raspberry Coulis.

When dipped in the sauces, the beignets are like jelly filled donuts.

During the winter, there are seasonal flavors to enjoy.

15.) Caramel Apples on Main Street — Disneyland

The absolute prettiest caramel apples there ever were.

I’ve seen people try to recreate the Disney design elsewhere, it’s just not the same.

You can watch the artists at work, decorating the apples through a window from Main Street.

Drink Up Me ‘Earties

16.) White Wine Sangria at the Cove Bar on Paradise Pier — Disney California Adventure

Not many people know that the Cove Bar allows people to take beer, wine, and margaritas to-go (two drink per person maximum).

A fruity, light, refreshing sangria to-go is perfect for a summer day.

There is also a red sangria available, also yummy, but more bitter.

17.) Piña Colada at the Cove Bar on Paradise Pier — Disney California Adventure

Even with alcohol, this drink remains sweet and creamy.

But honestly, I like the virgin version better.

What’s wrong with being a little innocent now and then?

18.) Rose Petal Soda at Carthay Circle — Disney California Adventure

This artisan drink features purified sparkling water flavored with delicate rose essence, and garnished with an edible, sugar-glazed, rose petal.

It’s a completely unique drink. Very chi-chi for sipping!

Pinkies up!

19.) Six Craft Beers at the Karl Strauss Handcrafted Beer Truck at Pacific Warf — Disney California Adventure

This is the spot for the best beer in the park.

They have all of the favorites, Tower 10 IPA, Red Trolley Ale, Endless Summer Nights…

Eight dollars isn’t cheap but it’s cheaper than a cup of beer at a NFL football stadium!

20.) Ramone’s Pear of Dice Soda at Cozy Cone Motel in Cars Land — Disney California Adventure

It starts with sprite, then is added a hint of desert pear, mojito flavor, and lots of ice.

Like biting into a juicy pear with a kick of mint!

21.)Quake Shake at Ghirardelli Soda Fountain — Disney California Adventure

For all you chocolate lovers out there, I introduce the Quake Shake!

There are many different versions, but my personal favorite involves peanut butter.

Find this rich and decadent treat next to Lucky Fortune Cookery, or just look for the big Ghirardelli sign!
