How to make Ramen Fries in 7 Easy Steps

You may be broke, but you can still be creative!

It’s a common cliché amongst broke college students that all we can afford to eat is ramen noodles. In some cases this cliché can turn into a reality, so when you’re wallet is low and you’re forced to eat yet another pack of ramen, why not be a rebel and try something new? I’m going to show you how to make delicious ramen fries in 7 easy steps

What you’ll need:

  • A pack of ramen
  • 1 egg
  • A large bowl, fork, and knife
  • One sheet of aluminum foil
  1. Boil your ramen in boiling water, the average time is 3 to 4 minutes max for the noodles to cook.
  2. Put 1 egg into a large bowl and whisk the egg with a fork until it’s all mixed.
  3. Place your cooked ramen into the large bowl and evenly coat the ramen with the whisked egg.
  4. Place the noodles on top of an aluminum foil sheet and mold it as best as you can into a rectangular shape. Wrap it all up and place it into the freezer for about 10 to 20 minutes.
  5. Once the ramen has hardened a little in the freezer, cut the ramen into small strips like the average fry you normally would eat.
  6. Place them on hot oil and fry them on both sides until it’s crispy and brown.
  7. Once it’s ready, you can sprinkle on the seasoning packet or customize it into your own liking with any condiments or toppings.

See, that wasn’t so hard? You may be broke, but at least you’re creative!
