HOW TO 5.0 — How To Start A New Society

1. Draft a proposal or an application specifying your society’s idea and agenda in detail and also including your approach, logistics required and persons of contact.
   Ideal application should be 5–6 pages long.
2. Find a teacher (preferably a permanent faculty) who’s interested in your idea and is willing to represent your society as the teacher in charge. Get the application signed by him/her.
3. Submit the application in the DSW (Dean of student welfare) Office and wait for the response. It is advised to keep a regular check on your application’s progress by keeping in touch with the concerned DSW staff.
4. Finally, the application gets approved only when it is attested by Prof. MPS Bhatia.
