Improvements to email receipts
Many Safepay users send email receipts for payments, and we’ve received a lot of requests to support sending receipts directly from Safepay. While support for sending automated receipts was always present from day one, the email templates were always undergoing constant change to reflect partner feedback. As with everything we try to do, we want to make common cases — like sending receipts — easy.
We’re excited to share a couple of improvements to our email receipts! We’ve learned a lot since launching the feature over 5 months ago.
A receipt for every charge
Safepay will automatically email your customers whenever they purchase a good or service from your store, through a Quick Bill or through your Connect Profile.
A receipt for every refund
Receipts will also be automatically sent when you issue a refund to your customers for items that run out of stock or if they change their minds about the original purchase.
A receipt for every authorization reversal
Safepay will even send automated receipts when you reverse an authorization for a transaction that wasn’t captured for any number of reasons. This will give your customers the confidence that their funds are secured and unblocked on their account.
Conclusion
As before, our receipts work across all popular mail clients. (Yes, they even look fine on Lotus Notes 8.) We’re always looking to make receipts more useful for you
