After the gigantic announcement last week, this week is a bit quieter as we continue to beta test V2. If you’ve missed a week and are wondering what all the big excitement was about, this should give you a clue:

Saffron Academy Returns!
Dingo gives a brief summary of Saffron Finance and talks about the long term plans for the Saffron Academy initiative. We’re starting off with weekly content, but our goal is to eventually get to a point where we are producing daily or near-daily content on a wide range of topics (Saffron Finance, DeFi in general, tutorials, explainers, interviews, etc). We have a massive content lineup coming out this year, and are always open to suggestions from the community. What kind of content would you like to see? Let us know here.
BSC Whitelist Expands
They’re letting just about anyone in here! But seriously, we need all the testers we can get and you guys are already doing a phenomenal job of providing valuable feedback to us. We’ve been inviting new waves of applicants into Saffron V2 Beta. If you haven’t joined us yet and want to help us develop the next iteration of Saffron — please feel out this form.
Saffron Town Hall
There was a fantastic town hall that took place last Sunday discussing governance, token issuance, developer updates, and much more. You can view the archive by going to the #governance channel on our Discord. As a reminder, we announce the Town Halls on Twitter/Medium and when they are live, a new chat channel will appear on the Discord (Live) with a channel devoted to the town hall. We look forward to seeing more of you there!
Saffron UI/UX Update Incoming
Thank you so much for all of your feedback, we’re rapidly making changes based on what you guys want to see. We’ve greatly expanded the wallet options, added in that feature requested dark mode, and so much more. Keep submitting your feedback guys!
Community Engagement
This week we’re awarding Saffron Kirby as this week’s Saffron Soldier. Naturally, he’ll be receiving a new role on our Discord and bragging rights for all eternity! For those not in the loop, the Saffron Soldier contest is a fun, once a week competition where our team looks at the top users who have gotten the most engagement (likes, retweets, etc.) throughout the week using either the tags $SFI, #SaffronFinance, or tagging us directly on Twitter. From there, the team then randomly selects the lucky winner. So far it’s proving to be a fun way to help engage the community a bit more. If you didn’t win this time — don’t worry, we’re going to be doing this once a week!
