Saga Notes on iOS 14

We’re super excited about the recently released iOS 14 update with tons of new features like widgets, the app library, picture in picture and many more! Check out the Apple Website for the whole overview!

For the last weeks, our team has worked hard to continuously improve Saga, make it a great app for organizing and planning and bring you the best experience possible on iOS 14.

We added amazing features like the new home screen, the calendar view, the note toolbar, saga templates and widgets. It has been a ride! And we’re thrilled to tell you about it :)

Saga Home Screen

Lauch Saga and you will be presented with the new home screen! It shows you all your Sagas including the number of notes, todos and events for each one.

Additionally you see at the top the number of notes, todos and events for today, so you know immediately what’s happening!

Calendar View

Tap on the today view and you will get to the calendar. The calendar shows you all your notes for today including the number of todos and events inside the note.

Change the view by tapping on different days in the calendar. The color coded dots indicate the notes, todos and events for the particular days. Swipe left or right to navigate through the months of the year.

Note Toolbar

With the new note toolbar you can set a date and a time for each element. Set a date on the note title and it will appear in the calendar.

Elements with time or todo items will also be shown in the calendar if they have a date. The date on the note title or heading will be applied to all elements below so you can quickly add multiple todos and events for the day.

Saga Templates

Saga now has multiple build-in saga templates to get you started. Create todo or shopping lists, plan your weeks, track your habits and more.

With customizable note templates and date automations it is super easy to create notes for each day or week that suite your needs!

Widgets

With iOS 14 you can now use beautiful widgets to see at a glance your todays notes, todos and events. And with the calendar, you get an overview of your notes for the whole month. Add your widgets now!
