Introducing The Saga Innovator Program
Greetings Saganauts,
Last week, Saga announced our Seed Funding and intention to introduce the Saga Innovator Program. This week, we will introduce more details around this program and how we hope to work with and accelerate highly innovative individuals and small teams. The purpose of this post is to outline more specific details around the Saga Innovator Program, what it is, why we are organizing it and how we can help you!.
Why Saga Innovators?
The objective of the Saga Innovator Program is to meet with, connect and accelerate the top teams and individuals who are re-imagining the worlds of Web3 gaming and entertainment applications. In particular, we are looking to connect with:
- Backend-As-A-Service Providers
- Web3 Game and NFT Developers and DAOs
- Unity and Unreal Engine Plugin Creators
- Web2 Game Studios and, Agencies transitioning to Web3
- Technologists who are reimagining the world
- Communities dedicated to Web3 gaming
We want to find those teams who are pushing the limits of blockchain technology, especially when it comes to enabling a much broader market of developers to launch their own chains. At Saga, we believe the Metaverse will be a Multiverse. We believe more developers will decide to launch their own chains, and we hope to work with those teams who share our vision.
Who are Innovators?
Innovators are individuals who have a unique combination of skills including but not limited to technical expertise, community building, platform design and tool development. Whether your goal is to train, organize and educate communities or to deliver specific technologies — We share a common goal of helping a broader spectrum of developers enter the Web3 space and giving those who are currently developing Web3 applications a space in which they can flourish, particularly in the gaming sphere.
In determining who will be an Innovator, we are looking for the following:
- Willingness to engage and commit to delivering joint activations together
- Ability and interest in producing developer-facing innovations to help more developers join the Web3 multiverse
What will Saga Innovators Receive?
Once we locate a potential Innovator, we will work together in a variety of ways. These can include:
- Grants for specific projects
- Software integration and acceleration
- Joint content, hangouts, blog posts and, videos
- In-person events such as the Saga Summit
- Showcase on our webpages, social media and ecosystem page
- Joint development of Proof-of-Concept, Sample Code and, Docs
- Interviews hosted on our social media channels
- And much more!
Timelines and How To Apply
We will be interviewing potential Innovators in coming months and hope to scale the program to a total of around 50 Innovators for the first phase of the program.
