Power-Level Over 9000 Airdrop Vault One Criteria and Snapshot

As our community continues to celebrate the Saga Mainnet Phase One launch, we are equally excited to introduce the Power-Level Over 9000 airdrop campaigns, which will be accompanied by a series of Vaults. These Vaults will not only feature batches of airdrops but also represent collabs with different partners, enhancing the overall experience for our devoted community of Web3 stakers and core gamers.

General Framework and Pipeline Stages

The Over 9000 airdrop will be conducted through a series of “Vaults.” Previously, we revealed seasonal drops of $SAGA tokens, which will now be integrated into the Over 9000 campaign and featured in each Vault release, with the aim of distributing the unclaimed portion of $SAGA tokens from the initial airdrops. In short: Vaults will be the main mechanism for dispersing airdrops. This includes ecosystem partners and $SAGA Tokens we had previously indicated would be distributed through “seasons.”

Vault Execution

Let’s outline the phases of each Vault. This structure aims to ensure a seamless and rewarding experience for participants.

• Snapshot — Snapshot will be taken of the community before each Vault is announced
• Vault Announce — Saga announces Vault contents, partner projects, and eligibility criteria
• Claims Page Open — Users visit Saga Claims page to verify their qualification
• Claims Window Close — Claims window closes for each Vault roughly one week after window open
• Dispersion — Tokens and digital collectibles distributed to qualifying wallets
• Extension — Opportunities for the community to participate in partner activations to unlock more rewards

Details on the First Vault

As we prepare to welcome on our 100+ airdrops from Saga Innovators and close partners in future vaults, the first few vaults will be used to refine eligibility criteria. The purpose of the First Vault is to create a baseline snapshot and airdrop we can use as an anchor point for all future Vaults. For this reason, the First Vault will only include a $SAGA airdrop without any external partner rewards.

With the First Vault, we want to reward loyal $SAGA stakers with a bonus to those who staked the majority of their genesis airdrop allocation.

The Over 9000 airdrop campaign will incorporate the distribution of the unclaimed portion of $SAGA tokens from the genesis airdrop, amounting to ~30 million tokens. With 3 million tokens set to be distributed on the First Vault, this constitutes 10% of the unclaimed portion. Furthermore, subsequent vault releases will feature additional $SAGA token distributions, ensuring a steady flow of rewards for participants. Notably, even after the distribution of the unclaimed tokens, a substantial 110 million $SAGA tokens remain available for distribution, underscoring the continued opportunities for involvement and participation in the airdrop campaign.

Note that eligibility for future vaults will change and may depend on the behaviors exhibited by recipients of this vault.
