We need to separate the urges from the act, so that we can treat the former like the mental illness it is
I’d never hold it against anyone for being disinterested in what I write, or disagreeing with it, but I ask that I not be judged on a title, or an introduction, or a skim, but a piece read in the complete form that it was written in. There’s no more despicable act than those committed by sexual predators who target children. They taint and destroy what is most innocent in this world. It causes one’s stomach to churn just to think of it. I’d have an easier time rousing my readers to vigilante justice than to introduce any nuance into that conversation. Yet, nuance is always called for — without exception.
