In July, we’ll share more about what we’ve learned building Salesforce Well-Architected and continue with our Architect’s Guide to Slack series. We’ll also be talking about analytics, automating governance processes, and using a risk assessment framework to evaluate integrations.

Our biggest announcement of July will be the launch of Salesforce Well-Architected to help you design and roadmap healthy solutions with the Salesforce Customer 360 Platform. There will also be some website updates and new Youtube videos happening this month!

Let’s take a quick look at some of what you can expect:

On the Blog:

Last month, we announced two new blog series related to how we’re building Salesforce Well-Architected and how we’re using Slack to run our business. We’ll be sharing more great content in both of them. On July 18 we opened our call for content and it will remain open until August 31. For more information, take a look at our FAQ page.

  • Better Automate and Scale Projects & Collaboration with Slack will cover use cases for Slack automations that help our team collaborate more effectively and deliver our work at scale.
  • Applying Well-Architected Principles to the Architect Website will discuss how our team is applying our Well-Architected principles to architect.salesforce.com to build a website that’s trusted, easy to use, and adaptable.
  • Architecting for Analytics evaluates the impact of exporting data out of Salesforce for reporting and helps you architect an effective analytics solution. You’ll be swimming in insights instead of drowning in data.
  • Evaluate Integrations with a Risk Assessment Framework will guide you through the creation of a risk assessment framework complete with examples and sample use cases.
  • 3 Steps for Conformance with Industry Standards provides recommendations for architects looking to certify their products for conformance with an industry standards body based on learnings from the Communications Industry Product Team at Salesforce.
  • Policy As Code for Leaner Governance will cover steps to automate routine tasks related to topics like enforcing development standards to free up time so you can focus on more value-adding governance processes.

On architect.salesforce.com:

  • The official launch of our Well-Architected Framework towards the end of the month. We’ll be launching Well-Architected and making some changes to our information architecture to make architect.salesforce.com easier to navigate. We’ll be covering the specific changes in a separate blog post closer to launch time so be on the lookout for that. We’re hoping that you’ll be just as excited about these changes as we are!
  • New Salesforce CDP data models are coming to our Reference Architecture Gallery including the CDP Overview, Party, and Privacy data models.
