We shared in the December Sneak Peek that we would be opening our blog for submissions. Today, I’m excited to share that we are kicking off our first-ever Call for Content! The Call for Content (CFC) opens today, January 17th, and will remain open until February 15th at 5pm PST. Interested in submitting to our blog? The instructions on how to submit are listed on our FAQ, and I’ll walk through them a bit below.

How to Prepare Your Submission

The first step is to write your blog post using this Quip template. We can only consider completed blog drafts, using this template.

Once you have your finished writing your blog, check out the FAQs on our website for tips to make sure your submission is as strong as possible.

After you double-check that you’ve gotten the draft completed, you can send us your blog using our blog submission form. During this time, you’ll need to make sure you give our editorial team the right access to your draft in Quip. The steps to do so are listed here in the FAQ.

After our CFC closes on February 15th, our team will read and review every submission. Everyone who submits a draft will hear back from our team by March 1.

What Topics Are We Interested In?

If you’re having trouble getting started or wonder what kinds of topics our readers value most, you’re in the right place! We’ve gathered together some examples of great blogs on our FAQ page.

In general, we’re looking for content that is authentic and shares real-world experiences. Content that resonates with our audience helps Architects with the decision-making process or provides guidance that they can implement right away.

If you still have questions, I’ll be hosting a Twitter Space along with Susannah St-Germain on January 26th at 9am-10am PST. Join us to get answers to your questions and learn more about what makes a great blog!

We look forward to reading your blogs — and (most of all) publishing lots of great content in the coming months!
