TrailblazerDX ’24 was another incredible event for architects looking to make an impact in the AI era. We are already receiving a lot of great feedback related to our theater sessions and our workshops within the Architect Vista. This TDX we focused on how to utilize Well-Architected tools to solve problems related to topics within the Well-Architected Framework. In case you couldn’t join us at TDX ’24 or missed out on the architect content that was available, here is a recap into what TDX ’24 was like:

Well-Architected Workshops

Once again we brought our Well-Architected Ambassadors from the Community back to host all of our workshops within the Architect Vista. This year Architects got to experience something new as we focused on how to utilize tools like the Patterns/Anti-Patterns Explorer, Decision Guides, and Salesforce Diagrams to effectively address challenges commonly encountered in their roles. These workshops gave attendees the opportunity to get hands-on with Well-Architected concepts like security, compliance and reliability.

There were 40 available seats in the Architect Vista and not only was every workshop completely full, but attendees were lining up for them 15 minutes ahead of time. Most of the people who weren’t able to get in still stood behind the ropes to watch and stayed in line to make sure they’d be able to get into the next workshop. We managed to engage with over 600+ attendees within the Architect Vista and many of our attendees engaged in multiple workshops.

We look forward to seeing everyone at future workshops.

Theater Sessions

At TDX ’24 we had seven theater sessions designed for architects related to Well-Architected, Data Cloud and AI. This year our Well-Architected Product Managers provided views into roadmaps related to the Well-Architected Framework, Salesforce Diagrams and Decision Guides. A call to action for each of those sessions was to gather feedback from the architect community and conduct listening sessions with architects. To learn more about how you can engage with the Well-Architected Product Managers take a look at the following recordings:

AI was top of mind for architects this TDX, and our A Well-Architected Approach to AI provided patterns and anti-patterns on what it takes to make sure your AI implementation is trusted, easy and adaptable. Without great data you can’t have great AI, and our Architect’s Overview of Data Cloud Best Practices talks about what capabilities Data Cloud can bring to your organization.

Conclusion

TrailblazerDX provided a great opportunity for our community members who serve as some of the most trusted advisors in the ecosystem to share their knowledge with others. The crowd sizes and engagement were strong indicators of the quality and demand for the topics we covered. As with past events, we will continue to iterate on the feedback that we’ve heard from our attendees and start to incorporate them into our Well-Architected product roadmaps.

And finally, I just wanted to thank everyone for being incredibly kind and engaging with our new Architecture Evangelists in the Salesforce Architects team like myself (Shoby Abdi), Justin Piehowski and Nevea Van Wright. Events like TDX ’24 show the energy and enthusiasm of the architect community and we can’t wait to bring that to all of you all year across the globe.
