Salesforce is a multi-cloud company, which has acquired other companies to make the cloud more integrated.

Salesforce acquired Demandware in 2016 which is now known as a B2C (Business to Consumer) Commerce platform. Similarly, Salesforce acquired CloudCraze in 2018 which is now known as a B2B (Business to Business) Commerce platform.

• B2B — Small set of business customers purchasing a large set of items
• B2C — Regular online shopping for a large number of shoppers
• B2B2C — B2B merchants can directly sell to Consumers
