Design at Dreamforce

Dreamforce is right around the corner! To help Trailblazers like you, all of us at Salesforce Experience — an initiative dedicated to evangelizing design and deepening relationships across the customer journey — have rounded up all the can’t-miss sessions, activations, and keynotes.

Use this Design at Dreamforce Trail Guide to find your way to:

  • Informative sessions from our Experience Design team experts, on how they build lasting relationships with customer-centric experiences
  • Best practices and fresh insights from our User Experience design and research teams — covering topics from AI to accessibility, mobile design to persona-driven design, and more
  • Enlightening talks on how design thinking can fuel new ways of working and generating ideas, from our Office of Innovation
  • Trailblazing case studies of Salesforce customers and partners leveraging design practices to transform their customer experiences and, in turn, their businesses
  • Access to our @salesforceux twitter feed so you can stay up to date on the latest news throughout the week

Curious about these design teams? We’ll introduce them a bit further down.

Salesforce believes that good design equals customer success. We’ve seen how it connects stakeholders and grows trust. Our thought leaders are looking forward to sharing what we’ve learned with you at Dreamforce. We’re confident you’ll discover many great insights to take back to your teams.

Design Is For Every Trailblazer

Big ideas can come from anywhere. That’s why Salesforce encourages everyone to take an active part in building great experiences — by creating tools, processes, and methods that enable the entire team to design, rather than just a specialized few. It’s about design, not designers.

This guide uses the term “design” generally. All of its content is applicable to anyone who uses design thinking or human-centered methodologies to work differently, inspire others, and build experiences inside the Salesforce Ecosystem.

Whether you’re an administrator leveling up with research and design best practices or a developer looking to enhance your skills using the Salesforce Lightning Design System; whether you’re a design professional creating Salesforce solutions or a product manager co-creating experiences; whether you’re an executive brushing up on a shared language and understanding of design thinking or just curious how Salesforce collaborates with stakeholders to develop the best customer experiences — this Trail Guide is for you!

At Dreamforce 2019, your design trek will include lots of co-creative, problem-solving content and all the tools, education, thought leadership, and methodologies you’ll need to get the most out of your teams, services, and products. Be prepared to get your trail steps in!
