Salesforce design is about building relationships. Our new collaboration with Deem Journal supports their focus on engaging in dialogue about the future of design and providing community-based experiences and processes.

Deem is a biannual print journal and online platform focused on design as social practice. Issue four — “A Sense of Place” — is an investigation of how people make place from a variety of spatial experiences. Through a series of essays, conversations, and interventions, they ask the question: How does space come to contain meaning, significance, sentiment, and feeling?

Through our partnership with Deem Journal, we’re highlighting some of the partnerships that inspire our work around relationship design. We hope you’ll explore these organizations and projects:

If you’re interested in looking beyond the scope of design, architecture, and planning to consider the new types of places that are emerging from newly-recognized needs — pick up a copy of issue four “A Sense of Place.” And let us know about a partnership that inspires you on our Twitter at @SalesforceUX.

Salesforce Design is dedicated to elevating design and advocating for its power to create trusted relationships with users, customers, partners, and the community. We share knowledge and best practices that build social and business value. We call this next evolution of design Relationship Design.
