We’ve known co-founders Nicolas Dessaigne and Julien Lemoine for a while now and are continuously impressed by their product leadership and vision. Our focus at Salesforce Ventures is backing the most ambitious SaaS companies strategic to the Salesforce ecosystem and our customers, and Algolia fits the bill as a true category leader.
A Future in API
Algolia’s search-as-a-service and full suite of APIs allow teams to easily develop tailored, fast search and discovery experiences that delight and convert. Partnering with Algolia builds upon our larger strategy of investing in the API space across sectors. To that end, Algolia joins other industry leaders we’ve backed, including Twilio (API for telecommunications), Contentful (API for content management), Onfido (API for identity verification), and Stripe (API for payments.)
