You may have heard a thing or two about Vue.js. In case you haven’t, Vue is one of the latest entrants in the quest for the perfect JavaScript framework. For those of you who are still looking for the one framework to rule them all, Vue may be worth a closer look.

Vue, so aptly named, is most concerned with the “V” in MV*, which makes it more comparable to React than more ambitious, monolithic frameworks like Angular or Ember. In comparing Vue and React, there’s more instant familiarity when getting started with Vue. You’re just writing JS — no need to learn a variant like JSX. Another reason to consider Vue is its modular nature. Vue’s inherent modularity helps it shine in a few key areas like Separation of Concerns and Reactivity, driving us closer to the easily interchangeable JS web components we deserve.

Watch as Sean Reid, UX Developer at Hearst Autos, gives us a deep dive into the real strengths of Vue as a modular framework.
