What is Salesforce?

The good…

Back in 1999, the wheel was reinvented when founders Marc Benioff, Parker Harris, Dave Moellenhoff, and Frank Dominguez started building Salesforce. What started as a sales CRM (Customer Relationship Management) platform turned into a stack of tools that can solve any sales or marketing problem — and for many, have become essential to their business practices.

…the bad…

Salesforce is incredibly powerful, to the point where some may ask, is it too much to handle? With the sheer number of tools it offers, it’s easy to get lost or overwhelmed by the platform. In fact, Salesforce built a whole training program, trailhead, to teach reps how to use the platform. There’s even a certification that people put on their resume.

The biggest problem managers have with Salesforce is sales rep engagement. Reps don’t always input data, because they feel that there is minimal value offered to them in doing so. Bottom line, the software isn’t user friendly. The platform has an outdated design and bad UI; frankly, it feels like you’re using software from 1999.

…and… actually, it’s okay!

Despite it’s complexities, we really do love Salesforce. It’s an incredibly powerful tool, from organization to analytics, there’s a lot to love! However, with the general lack of user-friendliness, we wanted to improve the software to bring its full potential to reality. So, we added our own twist: Map My Customers is integrated with Salesforce.

What on earth did we do?

Relax! We condensed Salesforce into a software that is more user-friendly. Now, you can truly unleash the full power of your CRM. We even added more tools that offer value to sales reps, as our main goal has been to improve rep engagement. We’ve built a sleek design, so you don’t feel like you’re using software from eons ago. Most importantly, we bring your Salesforce data to life with our seamless integration.

Now, getting down to the really good stuff…

Normally long lists are bad, but not when they’re about all the features you unlock by integrating MMC with Salesforce:

Data Visualization

  • Salesforce does a good job of organizing your data, but let’s take it to the next level. Bring it to life! With MMC, you can view your data geographically — see all your contacts plotted out on a map, the visual key to perfect spatial orientation. We’ve also built in a few other handy features just for you: Identity Insights generates a heat map to show where the major concentrations of your customer base are located; Visual Data Filters allow you to show certain subsets of customers, for example, those whose last check-in was more than a week ago (get on that!).

Sales Execution

  • Increase your sales efficiency using our software. Automate remedial tasks: Gone are the days where you had to manually enter each of your stops for the day — with Intelligent Routing, MMC will generate the most time and fuel-efficient route to hit all your major stops. With Automatic Check-Ins, MMC automatically records your visits when you’re physically near the customer. No more incomplete data when you forget to log a visit, we’ve got you covered. With Automatic Reminders, you will never again lose a customer in the shuffle. MMC will let you know when it’s time to check in with a customer again.

Designed with teams in mind

  • Ever see your territory accurately drawn on a map? With Visual Territory Management, you can finally see the true bounds of your territory (and no longer have to rely on incorrectly or inefficiently drawn renderings).
  • Here at MMC, we know that communication is key. That’s why we put all of your messages in one location. Send team members push notifications to keep them up to date, and easily share contacts as well.

Robust Charting and Reporting

  • MMC records additional field sales metrics to provide reports that Salesforce cannot. We provide a user-friendly sales funnel that is easy to both manipulate and use to visualize your sales process. With Route Analytics, we’ve placed a specialized focus on improving your outside sales journey. Identify areas of improvement through route history charts and travel trackers.

The Breakdown

Here’s the deal: It takes a total of 10 minutes to get started. That’s huge! Hardly anything work-related takes 10 minutes anymore — it’s our gift to you. Your Salesforce data is pulled into MMC, and whenever you log in, your data is automatically updated (of course, you have the option to turn this off). Your data is always saved safely, and we make a point to make your data privacy our highest priority — you are the sole owner of your data, we aren’t looking to change that now, or ever.

Phew! We know that was a lot to take in, but take a minute to process…

Here at Map My Customers, we wanted to take the good, bad, and powerful aspects of Salesforce and elevate it to its highest, most user-friendly potential. We know how hard you work to keep your customers happy, which is why we strive to do the same for you — work hard, work happy, work with Map My Customers.
