The New Norm For The Friday Fellowship

This is a difficult article to write, I am blessed with great friends and wonderful experiences through the Salons, but my mind sometimes works in a set way. The Salons are an amazing success in so many ways and yet the once powerful read-for-read part is unachievable or unimportant for some of the group, even though I struggle at times to stay on top of it, I know the lift it can give people with a stream of readers from the Salon on an article.

The main gains for me through the Salon as been the friendships I have developed, which have been achieved by the investment in each other and our articles. But this is getting harder, some people have fallen out of love with Medium, and others have more commitments away from Medium, some may have become disheartened by the lack of attention their articles received compared with the number of articles they read.

Investment in others creates stronger connections with them, my bonds with some people in the Salon are very strong. Now I need to decide how to progress the Salons without either breaking Medium rules or making people feel pushed out.

My guides told me after I was banned from here, ‘ it’s like an amazing and beautiful party that is over, and everyone on leaving promises to stay in touch, with every good intention. But then life takes people in different directions, and all the good will is overtaken by their demanding lives’, so the challenge now is to expand and freshen the Salons, without pushing away non-active or infrequent members.

Some people don’t write much if they do a tall. And the separating the Salons to different people I’m not sure if it works as well as it could.

Please comment about any changes you feel would benefit the Salon and you, or if the Salon is working for you the way it is.

I do believe the Salons make the world a kinder and brighter place, and you make the Salon.

Our friendships will last way beyond the Salon, and I hope the Salons last long into the future, so please help me to get the most out of them for more people.

Let us continue to create the wave of hope.

We all like to be appreciated, and I appreciate your support.

Writing is the soul’s attempt to be heard and the ego’s attempt to live beyond its lifetime.

Stop hiding, shrinking doesn’t serve the world or God.

So go out and create waves of love, beauty, and hope, because you never know who will surf on them!

Thanks for reading but more importantly thanks for being your beautiful self.

Love yourself, Love life, Love each other, and Create Magic!
