Gratitude Psalm 1

How good is the Lord that he would love us and free us?

How wonderful is our God that he would turn to us and guide us?

The Lord does not sit back or stand off, but His arms are ever open to us!

God reaches out to us, that we may understand His holiness; that we may know His great love for each of us.

When our eyes failed,

When our feet wandered away,

When our minds became dark,

And our hearts became hard,

God’s love reached us!

He lifted our burden; He washed away our stains.

He raised us from death and drew us close to His heart.

Seek the Lord and love Him!

Who or what is as worthy as the Lord?

What on earth, above or below, could you ever compare to the Lord?

Should we toss aside such love for ashes?

Should we value dust more than the Living God?

Come close to the Lord and love Him!

He alone is worthy!
