Their previous site, which was created using WordPress, caused numerous issues and challenges for the health center.

Overview

Artro’s previous website was compromised by multiple hacking attempts, causing severe damage to the WordPress core and rendering the site unusable.

This is a common issue with WordPress websites, which are also associated with slow page speed, poor SEO ranking, and the need for frequent theme and plugin updates.

Compared to WordPress, WebFlow has more stable code, less prone to hacking and greater flexibility when it comes to website design.

The hack attempts on Artro’s WordPress website had significant consequences for the company and its customers, who were unable to access the scheduling portal, resulting in dissatisfied clients and revenue loss.

Dealing with reality

The first step for SALVé was to study the WordPress site, which had been heavily infected by malware to better understand the previous website and all the technical details behind the coding and system.

Understanding site’s logistics including the CMS relations, page goals, copywriting and SEO were important to identify what needed updating and what needed to be completely revamped to ensure the best results for Artro.

Collecting the data

The second step for SALVé was to collect the important information from the previous website and then restore all the damaged files that would be needed for the new site.

We then mapped out how we would reorganize all of Artro’s information in a new CMS prototype.
