Mondays are a weekly gift to be treasured

Don’t throw away the gift of Monday moaning about the end of the weekend

A lot of people don’t like Mondays, but I do.

Monday always brings with it the scent of a fresh start.

What happened last week no longer matters. It could have been great, or it could have been terrible, but either way, it’s now in the past.

Monday draws a line in the sand. It puts what’s gone behind us and focuses our mind solely on what is to come.

Having this weekly reset is a gift.

It’s tempting to bemoan the end of the weekend but we mustn’t. Monday brings with it new opportunities.

We all need a chance to start over sometimes. Monday delivers this gift every single week.

The question is just whether we’ll receive it as a gift or not.
