Pursuing inspiration

Don’t wait for inspiration to come

Inspiration doesn’t just come to us.

It can do. But there’s no guarantee.

No: inspiration must be pursued.

We have to seek it. Desire it. Hunt for it.

How?

Through the books we read.

The music we listen to.

The art we look at.

The films we watch.

The people we talk to.

The places we visit.

We have to be selective though.

Fill our lives with junk, and our inspiration will match.

What will inspire us today?

We get to choose.

Choose wisely.

And don’t wait for it to come.

Hunt it down like a lion pursuing its prey.
