After twenty one weeks of daily posting—147 days, to be precise—I’m going to take a break. I’ll be taking three weeks—twenty one days—off.

I’ve long believed in sabbath. It’s important to stop sometimes. To recharge the batteries. We don’t always realise we need it, but the truth is we do.

I’ve loved writing every day and I’m looking forward to being back in a few weeks time. But I also know it will do me the world of good to step away from the pressure of posting something every day.

In truth, it’s not often felt like pressure. I've genuinely enjoyed the challenge of writing everyday. But I know I’ll benefit from having some time when I don’t have to think about publishing anything.

I’m sorry to those of you who look forward to reading my posts each day. But I hope you’ll appreciate that if you are going to continue enjoying my writing, it’ll probably be a good thing for me to step away for a while before going back renewed with new thoughts and ideas.

See you soon!
