Oplan Bayanihan Flood Relief

Samaritans Assistance & Reliefs (SAR) — Oplan Bayanihan Flood Relief, last July 2018. More than a hundred people are given relief goods from different locations in Dagupan Pangasinan, Philippines.

The team started with a prayer followed by Dominic Manabat and Jan Salvador Sebastian to introduce their agenda for their mission and vision.

Herrero-Perez, Dagupan City

The team started the tour at Herrero Perez and giving relief goods to the citizens of Herrero Perez.

Pantal, Dagupan City

Next destination, Pantal. Some house is still submerged in water and citizens reactions are speechless because of the unexpected assistance and relief goods from the team. The citizens are telling stories about how the destruction of their shelters and kinds of stuff from the typhoon, causing the place to flood due to the typhoon’s destructive heavy rain.

Zamora, Dagupan City

Next stop, Zamora!

The team had a difficult time to cross the muddy place but they didn’t give up because of the love for the people. After the muddy way, the team started to share their goods with the citizen of Zamora.

After the assistance and relief goods from the team, getting the citizen’s smile is one of the best feelings from the team. From the muddy place, travel issue and heat from the sun. It’s all worth it and called this a successful helping hand.

We would like to thank want everyone from the team for participating in the Oplan Bayanihan Flood Relief, especially to the donors for sharing their kindness to the people of Dagupan.
