Ho Chi Minh City (known as Saigon) is the largest city in Vietnam with a population of 8.6 million people. The population is expected to grow by 13.9 million by 2025. The city has a hot tropical climate all year round. It has lots of French colonial landmarks and Vietnamese war history museums, lots of international corporations like Intel and Panasonic have all set up their production facility here. We can see investments are coming from all over the world. The operation for Ho Chi Minh City Metro (funded by Japan Bank for International Cooperation) will start in 2020.

A large percentage of the young workforce is from different cities in Vietnam and they are all working hard to become a strong economic and cultural player in the region. Saigon has become full of life and energy because of those youthful and energetic people. It’s also a beautifully crazy Asian city that finds itself in the full upswing of development with a rise of consumership, the erection of tall buildings and expectations of the nation’s promise. It balances between communism, capitalism and eastern values.
