Diesel’s Fall/Winter 2012 online campaign uses an alternative style of photography called Cinemagraphs.

Cinemagraphs are photo/video hybrids which creates the subtle illusion of movement. The Cinemagraph style emerged last year and is really gaining popularity. There is no Flash or any other complex plug-ins used. The Cinemagraph is rendered as a GIF file, which can be used across all browsers. This dynamic approach to online advertising (if used correctly) can really light things up for companies looking to add a little spice to their campaigns. The keyword here is ENGAGEMENT!
