3D Visioner always was a unique tool enhancing representation quality of MS Visio by providing 3D dimensional free-looking on flat drawings. This works exceptionally well for the primary user who is running MS Visio with 3D Visioner on his PC, but sharing with others was always a specific area of R&D for 3D products such a 3D Visioner.

Export options were evolving from JPEG/PNG static screenshots to 3D Viewer application (lightweight PC application) and later to export scene as OBJ model. These options allowed exporting and viewing 3D Visioner scenes by other persons but required specific preparations such as installing an app or using 3D editing/viewing software.

Now we introduce 3D Web View feature of 3D Visioner integration, which is a complete solution for 3D viewing for widest audience. This solution is based on modern web browser WebGL framework supporting 3D content. Any person on Internet can view 3D Visioner scene by just opening one link.

WebView is a 3D content portal, allowing publishers (3D Visioner users) to share their content with any other persons. Publishing 3D scene requires authorization and the OBJ model exported from 3D Visioner. After uploading the OBJ model, WebView will display share options —a scene can be published as a URL link, a Tweet, or <iframe> embed code. Viewing users will just need a web browser and the link to open for full 3D experience of the published scene.

Publisher Step 1: Log in to viewer.3dvisioner.com using your e-mail address and Order ID of 3D Visioner purchase.

Publisher Step 2: Upload files of exported OBJ set to a free slot.

Publisher Step 3: Share a link with viewers (send in chat, e-mail, twitter, facebook, etc…)

Viewer Step 1: open the link in a web browser.
