SAMSA is here to help!
When you, a medical student, wake up in the morning with a good idea or pressing concern that might be nationally relevant, what are your first thoughts? Who do you need to talk to to make it happen or get it addressed?
South African Medical students are a fantastic group of extremely compassionate and driven individuals, that against the odds put their education and patient outcomes ahead of everything else.
The potential of this group to shape healthcare in our country is grossly under realised. The diversity of interests among the students as well as the willingness to engage is abundant, we see this in the various activities, societies and projects carried out on each medical campus every year.
However there seems to be limited inter campus interaction and collaboration. Keeping up with what is happening within one’s own medical curriculum is taxing enough.

SAMSA is here to help!
The South African Medical Students’ Association provides tools and services to medical students and Medical SRCs to better connect, carry out projects and achieve their goals.
