Evie Launcher is what happens once a number of developers completely nail the fundamentals of a custom launcher, and stick with their guns. Evie Launcher has an easy home screen plus interfaces like an app drawer and a customisation panel of for its icons and grid sizes, and for the discerning Android user that desires to line up their device once and never obsessionally manipulate their settings screen again. The animations are graciously limited and lend to the app’s quality match and finish.

Some would possibly call it Spartan, but to me, it’s just right.

ASAP Launcher

ASAP Launcher could be a peculiar one. Feature-wise, it tries to be a useful jack-of-all-trades and could be an utterly serviceable launcher with spectacular spit and polish.

It’s got an inbuilt weather card, a to-do list, a calendar and an inventory of contacts, in the middle of that is the home screen with a hamburger menu acting like an app drawer. It’s easy enough, however, it’s still rather fiddly with a somewhat misguided approach to its feature set, given they are very little, full-screen widgets.

Appearance-wise, however, ASAP could be a completely different story. With pretty cards that borrow color from your wallpaper and with a card-based interface that appears nice, I am positive there is an audience for it. I do think it absolutely was better arranged out, because . it does work, it does not encounter as thoughtfully designed.

Peek Launcher

Peek Launcher is sort of simply my favourite android home screen still in development, and that I would call it excellent if it weren’t for the explainable lack of basic customisation.

For the people who believe a launcher’s main purpose is to launch things, then no one launcher can come to this, with its T9-Numpad approach to quickly search for either an app or a contact, and to urge on either of these cases, pronto. Its interface of gesture-driven, and it is not interacting with the Numb pad is pretty easy and user-friendly to use, but again, the ol’ caveat of getting no search engine features outside Google could be a little bit of a bummer.

You can get Peek Launcher here free. there is a $5 in-app purchase selection to unlock a little range of features, like it can hide certain apps, however, it’s quite usable while not having to pay the damage. however, I might suggest doing thus anyway, given how awesome the app is, as is.
