Introducing Subtasks and Repeated Tasks

We took all the precious feedback that we’ve received over the last few weeks and worked on it offering an even better version of Samu. Today we’re introducing two brand new features: Subtasks and Repeated Tasks.

Subtasks

We’ve built Samu to see everything about your personal and professional tasks in a single glance. Subtasks enhances this experience as you can group multiple tasks together in one. Let’s assume our old coffee machine is broken, so we need to buy and install a new one. Previously you had to create two tasks for this:

• Buy New Coffee Machine
• Install New Coffee Machine

With Subtasks you can combine both of them in one task, which keeps everything clear.

Recurring Tasks (and Time Deadline)

Whether we have tasks that repeat itself over a specific time period or we want to form a new powerful habit, recurring tasks solves this for you. You can define if a tasks should repeat itself every day / week / month or year. We definitely will add further options over the next few weeks so that we cover every possible scenario.

Repeating tasks keep their descriptions, effort estimates and subtasks. Additionally we’ve reworked the whole datepicker and are now able to offer you to set a due time.

And there’s more

As Samu reached 500 users last month we’ve decided to invest into a faster server. Furthermore we’ve fixed a couple of severe bugs for mobile users.
