At Sana Labs, our mission is to apply recent breakthroughs in AI to make learning personalized and engaging. We believe personalized learning should be ubiquitous — empowering everyone with efficient skilling, upskilling, and reskilling. Our latest round of funding, a $18M Series A announced today, will help us make that happen.

Our goal is to bring on investors with experience building category leaders and we’re humbled to welcome EQT Ventures alongside some of the world’s best entrepreneurs, product leaders, marketers, and angel investors with backgrounds ranging from founding Unity and Kry to leading marketing and product at Spotify and iZettle.

I first met EQT Venture partner Ted Persson when I was interning at Great Works back in 2010. A pioneer in technology, product design, and branding, Ted has been a hero ever since. Thus, I couldn’t be more excited to partner with Ted, former Spotify VP of Analytics Henrik Landgren, former founder Sandra Malmberg, and the rest of the EQT team.

Most importantly, we’re excited to see best in class learning teams at companies like Novartis, Amgen, and Mount Sinai leverage Sana. Since our founding, Sana has helped hundreds of thousands of learners, with 98% reporting that Sana improved their learning. Our Series A will allow us to amplify our efforts for reimagining how learning is delivered, created, and analyzed.

We believe everything starts with learning. After all, if we can learn twice as fast, knowledge becomes useful in half the time, turning theory into world-changing applications. As ever, we’re only getting started on our journey to radically improve the way the world learns. To that end, thanks to the Sana Labs team for being the last to accept the status quo and the first to change it.

If you’re interested in joining our team or bringing Sana to your company, send me a note at joel@sanalabs.com.

Best,

Joel
